This little girl was so engrossed in her shell collecting that she seemed oblivious to anything happening around her. I thought this was such a lovely scene, but hesitated to post this image for sale since I don't know the girl. It was years ago, and perhaps someone would recognize her but maybe not. I thought of this particular image the minute I read this quotation. I think it's the perfect addition to my gratitude set!
