I've had this fractal in the queue to post for so long -- I can't recall if I used a photograph for the background or not. The foreground, however is a combination of the large blue fractal, an "amazing circle", and some digitally rendered bubbles! The swirling of the fractal reminded me of a peacock feather -- hence the title.
