Description
I went to visit Decatur TX to see the historic Wise County Courthouse. On a foggy Saturday morning, I walked around the historic town square to view the courthouse from all sides. To my delight, this vintage sign was on the side of a building just off the square, and you can see the courthouse in the background. The present courthouse is the 4th for the county (the third having burned) and was completed in 1896. It is of pink granite with interior of Vermont marble, and has been pronounced architecturally perfect.

What a great vintage sign! Great collectors piece...especially if from Texas with the added courthouse! Well done! lf
